Short Term Accommodation (STA)
Ozability Homes is a trusted provider with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for Short Term (STA) and Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) across Australia. We work closely with referrers, participants, carers and families to provide accommodation that meets every participant’s individual needs.
STA support includes all expenses in a 24-hour period including assistance with self-care or community access activities, accommodation, food and other activities. Typically, this type of support would be used for short periods of up to 14 days at a time. For longer-term arrangements, other options are likely to be more appropriate (e.g. Medium Term Accommodation).
While the process of booking Ozability Homes accommodation varies considerably from one participant to the next, the following five steps provide a general guide to the process involved. The complexity of the referral will impact the process and length.

Referral Process In 5 Simple Steps
Complete our referral form and a Ozabilty Homes Specialist will contact you to discuss requirements and eligibility.
We will identify properties fulfilling referral criteria (includ. participant +/- support requirements, location, dates and budget). Quotation will then be sent to referrer.
Referrer confirms NDIS approval to proceed and we will arrange a Service Agreement.
Ozability Homes Service Agreement Signed & returned to secure housing.
We will liaise with referrer & team to coordinate equipment deliveries & access.
Final confirmation for seamless transition and particpant arrival. Ongoing feedback and monitoring to assist particpants and supports.
